Community Outreach
Local dentist and his staff come together for the community
The Medical Teams International Dental Van and the Albany General Hospital Foundation welcomed Doug Johnson, DMD, and his staff of four on July 31, where the team volunteered their time to help provide dental care to community members.
Doug, along with his son (and current pre-dental student) Justin, and assistant Charity Blankenship, hygienist Kathy Cox and pre-hygiene student Sylvia Galbasini, cared for 11 patients where they performed three fillings and 19 extractions. The estimated cost of services totaled $6250.
This was Doug’s first time partnering with the AGH Foundation, but is a long standing volunteer with the MTI Van. A big thank you to Doug and his staff for their work and commitment to care! Doug Johnson’s office is located on 14th Ave. in Albany and specializes in family dentistry including orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
